Gift Cards at Iceland
In simple terms, Iceland gift cards can be used to pay for items in Iceland stores and Food Warehouse stores. They cannot be used online, to buy other gift cards, or to receive discounts. They should be treated like cash, and expire after 24 months.
Once activated, Iceland gift cards can be used to pay for items in UK Iceland stores and Food Warehouse stores. It may take up to 24 hours for the card to be activated after purchase. You can use multiple cards in one transaction.
Gift cards can be used in Iceland and Food Warehouse stores.
Gift cards cannot:
- be used on the Iceland website or in The Range stores
- be reloaded
- be used to buy Bonus Card Savings, Lottery tickets, or other gift cards.
- be returned or refunded, except for legal reasons. If you exchange items bought with the gift card for a lower-priced item, the remaining amount may be added to a new gift card.
- be exchanged for cash and are not credit, charge, or guarantee cards.
The minimum amount to activate the gift card is £10, and the maximum is £500.
Treat the gift card like cash and keep it safe. Iceland is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed gift cards or their balances. No cash or credit will be given if the card is lost or stolen.
Gift cards expire 24 months after activation.

School Vouchers at Iceland
Iceland stores and Food Warehouse house stores accept school vouchers.
The school voucher can only be used for purchases at the store. The voucher cannot be used online.

What Does Iceland Accept?
Iceland stores accept vouchers, paper coupons, receipts, or any other forms of discounts and instant rewards. Some discounts are only available online and are called "Electronic Coupons." You may receive them by email or get them printed at the till.
Main Coupon Details
The terms of each discount, promotion, validity dates, and how to use it will be written on the coupon or in the corresponding email. By using a coupon, you agree to its terms and conditions.
Where Can Coupons Be Used?
Online-only discounts can only be used online unless stated otherwise. Some coupons are only valid in certain stores, so check the coupon's terms for more information.
Surrendering Coupons
For in-store transactions, you must give the cashier the paper coupon at the start of the transaction. Iceland does not accept damaged, amended, or copied coupons, and it will not be responsible for lost or damaged coupons. For online coupons, you must use the code or reference written on them.
Applying Coupons
Coupons will be applied at the end of the transaction after all other promotions and discounts have been removed and prices have been calculated. You still need to meet the minimum spend requirement for delivery after using the coupons.
Limitations and Responsibility
Coupons are not transferable, cannot be used more than once, and have no cash value. Unless specified, coupons can only be used for one item. You cannot use coupons for carrier bags, baby formula, or to add savings to your Bonus Card. You also cannot use coupons for the purchase of alcohol in Scotland. If there is a minimum spend requirement for a coupon, the purchase of carrier bags or adding Bonus Card savings will not count towards it.
Iceland is not responsible for any technical difficulties that may result in a transaction failure or coupon generation/redemption failure. You are responsible for keeping your coupon safe once you receive it.
