How much JetBlue TrueBlue points are worth?

JetBlue does not have a published rewards scheme. Instead, the price in points is usually correlated to the cash price of the ticket and is awarded based on the value of the purchase. On average, you'll get at least 1 cent per TrueBlue point, but also no more than 2 cents per point.

You will accumulate 3 points for every dollar spent, except when booking Blue Basic fares, where you will earn 1 point for every dollar spent. When booking through jetblue.com, our members have the opportunity to earn an additional 3 bonus points per dollar spent, except when booking Blue Basic fares, which still earn 1 point per dollar spent. Here's how it works:

If you've purchased a Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra, or Mint fare on jetblue.com, you can earn an extra 3 bonus points per dollar, bringing your total to 6 points per dollar spent.

For members who have booked a Blue Basic fare on jetblue.com, you can earn an additional bonus point per dollar, totaling 2 points per dollar spent.

What is the TrueBlue loyalty program?

TrueBlue is JetBlue's loyalty program where you can earn rewards in the form of TrueBlue points. Points are awarded not only for flight ticket purchases, but also for travel, hotel reservations and everyday purchases from partners. TrueBlue points are earned by purchasing qualifying services or products from JetBlue, JetBlue Vacations, Paisly, a TrueBlue partner or with a JetBlue co-branded credit card.

Note! No bonus points are earned if JetBlue-operated flights are booked by phone or otherwise.

Participation in the TrueBlue program is free of charge, but registration on the website is required. Anyone with legal capacity who is 14 years of age or older can register. You can also add your child to the loyalty program.

But please note that the rewards program does not apply to third party ticket purchases: if you bought a ticket for someone other than yourself from your account, you will not be rewarded.

Points can be spent on flights. TrueBlue membership also provides a number of benefits and privileges on board JetBlue aircraft.
