All data obtained in the survey will help work towards improving customer service. Customers who complete the survey have the opportunity to enter a prize draw – winners are chosen each month.

About Survey

The survey involves honest and unbiased feedback about a visit to a Marks and Spencer shop. It will take approximately 10 minutes to answer the survey questions. Try to describe in as much detail as possible your impressions of your visit to the M&S shop.

The company is interested in what you liked, what seemed particularly pleasant in the shop, and what on the contrary is worth improving and replacing. The feedback doesn't have to be positive – the main thing is honesty.

Marks and Spencer conducts a survey on primarily to gather feedback and opinions from all regular customers on the quality of the clothes, services offered and the atmosphere.

As a thank you for taking the time to complete the m&s survey, you will get the chance to win an expensive gift.

Each month there are 10 winners who will each receive £50 in the form of an M&S gift e-voucher.

The winners of the ROI will receive a 50 euro M&S gift e-voucher.

The list of winners is drawn at random each month. The winner will be notified by phone or email within 15 days of completing the survey. The notification will ask for confirmation of the winner's age. If the winner does not respond and confirm these details within 14 days of notification, an alternate winner will be chosen.

Winners may be invited to participate in M&S advertising. Participation is entirely voluntary.

How to take the MakeyourMandS survey

To take part in the Marks and Spencer survey you must be a permanent UK resident and ROI. The survey participant must be over 18 years of age. 

Marks and Spencer shop employees and their family members are not allowed to take part in the survey.

Each family can only take part in the Marks and Spencer survey twice a week. Each participant will receive only one prize from Marks and Spencer shop.

Important: Only one survey entry per email address per month and only one participation in the prize draw. This means that no matter how many times you answer the survey, only one of your answers will be entered into the draw during one month of the competition, as long as you provide the same email address.

Requirements for taking the Makeyourmands survey

You will need a recent receipt from a Marks and Spencer shop. The company has more than 800 shops in the UK. But if you don't have a receipt, you can still take part in the survey by simply entering the shop and the time of your visit.

You'll need the internet to take part in the survey, and you'll need a valid email address and phone number to enter the prize draw.

The questions in the survey are about your impressions of your last visit to the shop. You'll need to give your ratings on a dozen items. Would you recommend M&S to your friends? What did you like or dislike?

Can you tell us why you think so? Please provide as much detail as possible – think about the M&S departments you visited when you give your answers. Think about how you felt as a result of visiting the shop and whether your actions changed as a result. That is, whether you will come to an M&S shop again.

Next, select the language (English or Spanish) to take the survey.

On the page that comes up, enter your receipt details: date, time and codes (Code A, Code B and Code C). The codes (A, B and C) are made up of 3 groups of numbers that are printed at the bottom of your receipt. Enter each of these codes from your ticket into the appropriate field. Click the "Next" button.

At the end, enter your details for the prize draw: name, phone number and email.

You can take the survey without a receipt. On the official website, open the survey page and select the "No receipt" option.



Next, provide details of your recent visit: date, time and shop name.

Under “Questions”, answer all the questions and submit the questionnaire.

To enter the prize draw, enter your personal details: name, email address and mobile number. This is optional.
