In today's world, travel has become an integral part of our lives. As part of the IHG family of hotels, IHG Rewards offers a loyalty program that rewards members with exclusive benefits, perks, and experiences.

IHG Rewards Hotels are a collection of over 6,000 hotels worldwide, spanning 16 distinct brands such as InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and more. As an IHG Rewards member, you can earn points for every stay, which can be redeemed for free nights, room upgrades, and other rewards. How to redeem IHG One Rewards Points

Members can redeem their Points for other rewards through the "redeem" section of the IHG One Rewards website. However, all rewards are subject to availability, as well as to the terms and conditions and restrictions imposed by merchandise, travel, or other suppliers. Rewards may vary by region and country of residence, and the number of Points required for specific rewards is subject to change at any time.

Reward Night: booking, additional fees and discounts

IHG One Rewards Points can be redeemed for Reward Nights. The number of points required can vary based on several factors such as the brand, hotel, and day of the week. The availability of rooms for Reward Nights is subject to prior sale, and while there are no blackout dates, the room inventory is limited. It's important to note that points cannot be redeemed for Reward Nights at InterContinental Residences, IHG Army Hotels, select Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, and select Mr & Mrs Smith hotels.

To use a Reward Night, advance reservations are necessary. These reservations cannot be made through a travel agent and must be made via the IHG One Rewards website, the IHG One Rewards App, or IHG Customer Care. It is essential to be logged in to redeem points online for a Reward Night, and a credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. Online cancellation of Reward Night reservations is possible, but Mr & Mrs Smith Reward Night online cancellations vary by property. If cancellation is unavailable online, guests will be notified to call the IHG Customer Care. Misuse or fraudulent conduct of a Reward Night, including cancelling a Reward Night reservation after check-in, can lead to forfeiture of points and/or other remedies allowed under these terms and conditions.

Each Reward Night is valid only for a standard room for one night, and includes Government-mandated, state, and/or locally administered taxes or fees. Room types may vary for Mr & Mrs Smith hotels and Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas. Reward Nights at all-inclusive resorts are based on double occupancy, and extra person charges may apply beyond double occupancy. Please contact IHG Customer Care for further information. It's important to note that Reward Nights do not cover food and beverages, gratuities, or incidentals, and resort fees and/or service charges at individual hotels may apply. These charges must be paid directly to the hotel prior to check-out, and transportation costs to and from the hotel are not included.

Reward Night reservations for multiple rooms (up to 9) on the same stay date at the same property can be booked, provided that the IHG One Rewards Member number is recorded on each reservation, the required points are redeemed for each room, and there is available inventory.

If a member books a Reward Night on behalf of another person/beneficiary in Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan), the member must contact IHG Customer Care no less than 7 days before the stay date. The member must provide specific personal details for the guest who will be using the Reward Night, as requested by IHG. Any changes to the guest's details must be completed through IHG Customer Care. If the member fails to provide or change the requested information on time, or the information provided is incorrect for any reason, the guest using the Reward Night will not be able to check-in, and the relevant booking will be canceled. This requirement applies to all Reward Nights earned through stays, points, promotions, or in any other way.

IHG One Rewards Member benefits are available on Reward Night stays, except for the Guaranteed Room Availability benefit for Platinum Elite and Diamond Elite Members. Members may not earn points or partner miles/credits on the room rate equivalent of Reward Nights, but points are awarded for all other eligible charges. A Reward Night is defined as a stay that a member redeemed points for, and includes Reward Nights booked via Points & Cash.

Members who opt to cancel their Reward Night reservation before the hotel's stipulated cancellation deadline will have the Points used for that reservation credited back to their IHG One Rewards account. However, members who do not cancel their reservation within the cancellation deadline and do not show up for their reservation will be charged a no-show fee, in addition to tax per room based on the applicable hotel policy. This fee will be billed to the credit card that was used to guarantee the reservation upon booking, except for reservations made at Mr & Mrs Smith hotels and Six Senses Properties.

At Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, members must cancel their Reward Night reservation 30 days before the day of Check-In to receive a refund of their points back to their IHG One Rewards account. If a member cancels their reservation within 30 days of the check-in date, the Reward Night points will be forfeited. Similarly, at Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, members who cancel or do not show up for their Reward Night or Free Night after the cancellation window has elapsed will have their points forfeited, and their Free Night certificate will become void. It's important to note that cancellation policies vary by hotel.

Platinum Elite, Diamond Elite, and IHG One Rewards credit cardholders who are eligible may receive exclusive access to select discounts on Reward Nights at participating hotels. If eligible, cardmembers will have early access to Reward Night discounts. However, it's important to note that Reward Nights are void where prohibited by law, and IHG One Rewards reserves the right to modify, discontinue, substitute, or cancel the Reward Night program at any time without notice.

IHG One Rewards Points & Cash

IHG One Rewards Points & Cash allows members to redeem a combination of existing Points and Points purchased at the time of booking to book a Reward Night. Points & Cash Reward Nights can be redeemed on the IHG One Rewards website, the IHG One Rewards App, or through IHG Customer Care. The required amount for purchasing additional Points to book a Points & Cash Reward Night is subject to change at any time. A valid and accepted credit card or approved payment method must be used for Points purchases. The cash components of a Points & Cash Reward Night price that are viewed in currencies other than U.S. dollars will be adjusted, as needed, to reflect the U.S. dollar equivalent at the time of payment. All other Reward Night terms and conditions apply.

Pay with Points program

When a member stays at an IHG branded hotel that participates in the Pay with Points program, they may redeem Points to apply a credit against eligible charges on the Member’s guest room folio. Redemptions must be made through the IHG One Rewards App or an IHG website. The Program may limit the number of transactions and/or the maximum number of Points that may be redeemed per day. By selecting the catalog, members will be directed to Maritz LLC ("Maritz"), a third-party provider that hosts a private label website (the "Site") that offers merchandise, gift certificates, and other reward fulfillment services (the "Services") to Members in exchange for Points. These Services are subject to additional terms and conditions as set forth on the Site. Any obligation that IHG may have to members in connection with the Points redeemed for rewards will be fully discharged upon their receipt of goods from Maritz.

Points & Cash Cancellations

If you decide to book a Points & Cash Reward Night and complete the Points purchase, please note that the total cost of the purchased Points will be charged to the credit card or approved payment method you specified, and the cost of the Points purchased is non-refundable. However, if you cancel the Reward Night in accordance with the Reward Nights terms and conditions and within the hotel's cancellation policy, the purchased Points will be re-deposited into your IHG One Rewards account.

Pay with Points

Members staying at IHG-branded hotels that participate in the Pay with Points program can redeem their points to apply a credit against eligible charges on their guest room folio.
