About Shop Your Way loyalty program

Shop Your Way (SYW) program is used by marketplaces Sears and Kmart. SYW was regarded as one of the most successful customer loyalty programs with social media.

SYW members can redeem freecash points for merchandise. As usually, the more members spend the more they save. The advantages of the SYW are multiple innovative ways for its members to earn points. For example, the members can invite their friends to join the program via email and Facebook. Surprise points are randomly given to loyalty program members. Sometimes the surprise points come with no other spending requirements and other times they are bound with an additional purchase.

In addition, SYW offers sweepstakes, contests, and instant win games for the members to win points, prizes and giveaway. To enter sweepstakes, new members must first update their profiles and then answer the poll/survey questions. The poll/survey question can be used to find customers’ preferences or interests. The SYW program is so popular that many members discussed and shared their experiences using online forums on social media. They often discussed new sweepstakes opportunities and ways to get more points through online forums and Twitter.
