Tesco offers its regular customers a special way to save money - Christmas Savers.
When you shop at Tesco regularly, you can get special vouchers that can be saved throughout the year. You'll get all your savings in November - just in time for the big shopping spree. Clubcard Christmas Savers top-up vouchers and bonus vouchers will be sent to you by post or email on your Clubcard account statement for November this year. You In the Personal Area of your account you can see statements throughout the year. It's a simple and straightforward way to keep track of your savings. Log in to your Clubcard account and go to 'My Clubcard Account' to see the vouchers you've saved, the money you've deposited and the bonus vouchers you're entitled to.
Alternatively, you can increase the amount put aside for Christmas even further by topping up your account at the customer service desks in our larger stores and receiving a bonus from us. The maximum bonus is £12 (subject to a top-up limit of £360).
Bonuses are awarded according to the following scheme:
- £25-£49 top-up = £1.50 bonus
- £50-£99 top up = £3 bonus
- £100-£199 top up = £6 bonus
- £200-£360 top up = £12 bonus
Clubcard Christmas Savers top-up
To start saving for next year's Christmas, you can top up your Clubcard Christmas Savers account from December 26. The last date to top up for the current year is October 18 of the year at 23:59.
Where does Tesco keep my money throughout the year?
When you top up your account, your money is held in a trust. You don't have to worry about their safety, all savings are secure. The trust is managed by trustees, one of which is a professional trustee company independent of Tesco. Once your money is transferred to the trust, it is held for its benefit in a separate bank account. This means your money is protected until it is used for Christmas vouchers.
How do I become a member of the Clubcard Christmas Saver program?
If you are signing up to the loyalty program for the first time, you will be given the opportunity to become a member of the Clubcard Christmas Saver program when you join Clubcard. If you are already a Clubcard member, you can participate in the program by logging into your Clubcard account online, selecting "Voucher Schemes" and "Clubcard Christmas Savers".
Please note that you can only participate in one voucher program at a time. To become a member of the Clubcard Christmas Savers program, you must be logged out of the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club program.
How do I use my Clubcard Christmas Saver vouchers?
You can spend your vouchers in Tesco stores or online. You can also spend them on fuel at Tesco petrol stations or Esso petrol stations with Tesco Express on site.
If you want to access your Clubcard vouchers before your November statement, you'll have to opt out of the Clubcard Christmas Savers program.
Please note that reward vouchers cannot be used with our Reward Partners program.
What is the difference between Clubcard Christmas Savers top-up vouchers and bonus vouchers?
A top-up voucher contains the amount of money you have topped up during the year. A bonus voucher contains the amount of bonuses you have accrued. This is an extra thank you for shopping with us and saving money. The bonus amount can be up to £12.
Top-up vouchers are valid for 2 years from the date of issue and can be used both in-store and online.
Bonus vouchers are valid for 2 months from date of issue and can be used in store or online.
